MSC Oscar - Largest container ship in the world

At nearly the length of four football fields laid end to end, MSC Oscar is the largest container ship in the world (as of January 2015). Christened on 8 January 2015, the MSC Oscar assumed the title from the CSCL Globe inaugurated in November 2014. Was built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and classed by DNV GL, is 395.4 m long and 59 m wide.
